The Sports Drink Bar Versus White Lightning Tue 05 Aug 08, Match Report For: White Lightning The best venue in the LSDL The best venue in the LSDL can be found at On's Place, The Sports Drink Bar. On the second floor (American 2nd floor), the lounge is great and well laid out. It was a real pleasure to play there. OK, now to the darts. The singles were won by WL 2-1, with Colin and Tom beating John and Jar. In the last single On wipped up on the WL captain 2-0, she threw Ton 21 for her first ton of the night. In the doubles Boggs and Simon beat Jar and John 2-0 with both WL players recording closes. In the second doubles Tom and Colin pipped On and Jar 2-1. In the last double John and ON bear Colin and David 2-0 with On throwing 2 Ton 33's in the process. The MM was very close with On and company recording the victory. White Lightning Versus The Aloha Bar Tue 29 Jul 08, Match Report For: White Lightning Aloha Unleashed! In the first match the Aloha unleashed there newest member Su who beat Colin 2-0. In the second match David beat up Tom 2-0. In the last single after both players tried for hours to hit a double in the third leg, David finally hit it to beat Harry 2-1. After the singles Aloha was ahead 2-1. In the first double Colin check out on 65 and 66 to give White Lightning it's first lead of the night. In the second doubles, Tom and Boggs beat David and Harry 2-1, to give WL a 5-2 lead. In the last double, with the match tied 1 leg apiece and the Moonshine ahead, David unleashed a Ton 80 to change the dynamics of the match. Aloha wins 2-1. Again it was all down to the Mickey Mouse which was won by the Aloha Bar to tie the match 5-5. White Lightning would like to thank Scott, Harry, David and Su for a great night of darts. I n a true see-saw match, the scores went 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 3-2, 4-3, 5-4 and finally 5-5. It was a fair result for both sides. The high light from WL point of view was the second leg of the last double, down 1 leg to 0 and down by over 300 points, both WL players threw tons + in a row to bring them back to win the leg and then take the third leg to go up 5-4. The MM was played well by both teams with SC closing everything to win. WL would like to thank Noi, Moo, Mike and Ron for a great night of darts. Also thanks for the food and the free drink.
